  ECLIPSE FLIGHT LIBYA 2006

We could experience the eclipse on March 29th, 2006 under perfect weather conditions in the Sahara..

The trip on an Austrian Airlines Boeing 767, piloted by Walter Max Schwendenwein himself to Benghazi, took most of our participants to the Oasis Jalu.

We experienced 4m 03s of eclipse there and also had the opportunity to take a view on the stars above the desert. We spent 2 days in a camp erected just for the eclipse.

Additional flights were provided to Waw An-Namus in Libya and to As Sallum in Egypt.
