| The Eclipse
flight to Iceland was an impressive natural spectacle! No doubt we were the only people on earth who experienced this impressive annular Eclipse from wonderfully clear skies and calm air on May 31st 2003 from a height of 36.000 ft flying at a velocity of 0,80 Mach (approx. 880km/h over ground). Travelling this speed we were able to follow totality for some minutes. Following 4 dimensional navigation we were at exactly the right place at the right time and therefore experienced a perfectly centered Eclipse. » History » Impressions |
